OFFERING A CUSTOM FAN SOLUTION FOR DEDUSTING AND FILTERING INDUSTRY TO MEET YOUR EXACT SPECIFICATIONS

Nowadays it is very common to observe dust collectors installed in most of the factories or industrial estate. Dust collectors handle air treatment processes in the factories, most common air treatment is either to recover valuable particulate powder from the air stream, or to remove air pollutants from the exhaust gas before being discharged into the atmosphere. Dust collection is used to collect dust from any process at the source.

The dust collector can be a single unit structure or a group of equipment used to separate particles from the process air. They are commonly used as air pollution control equipment to maintain or improve air quality. Dusty air will first pass through inertial separators which helps to separate dust from gas streams using a combination of forces, such as centrifugal, gravitational, and inertial. The separated dust is moved by gravity into a hopper, where it is temporarily stored.

The three primary types of inertial separators are:

Settling chambers
Baffle chambers
Centrifugal collectors
Centrifugal collectors use cyclonic action to separate dust particles from the gas stream. The most common types of collectors in use today are: Single-cyclone separators, which creates a dual vortex to separate coarse from fine dust. Multiple-cyclone separators, which consist of a number of small-diameter cyclones, operating in parallel. Users should always cautious about parameters below in specifying dust collectors:

airflow the velocity of the air stream created by the vacuum producer
system power
storage capacity for dust and particles
minimum particle size filtered by the unit
Temperature, moisture content, and the possibility of combustion of the dust are also major concerns in dust filter selection. The pulse jet collector is a very effective industrial dust collection system. A timer-controlled diaphragm valve controls the compressed air in the pulse jet collector. An energy saving solution is introduced with the use of a differential pressure sensor to detect the pressure difference in the collector and inject the pulse only when the pressure builds up. The dirtier the filters, the greater their resistance to passing air. When the difference between the two pressure readings reaches the preset level, the differential pressure sensor transmits a signal to the pulse jet collector and performs a filter cleaning mechanism. Differential pressure sensors greatly mitigate the waste of energy compared to timer-controlled diaphragm valve control. The side benefit is enhancing a longer product life of the filter component, as well as the pulse jet itself. The life cycle of filters could be extended and hence save the maintenance cost of replacing filters. Thus, the pulse jet dust collector is commonly used in various industries and it is one of the most cost-effective plant dust removal system

With more environmental concerns and tighter emission regulations in place, more manufacturing industries face challenges in dust control to ensure continuous sustainable operation and meet emission regulations and targets. There are few critical considerations, including limitation of job site installation space, pipe length, accessibility to collect dust from the process, electrical component for controlling auto self adjustment during operation, filter types selection and control equipment in designing dust control systems. In addition, the most important decision must be made about whether the project will use either a centralized dust control system or multiple dust control systems to best suit that particular situation. In short, it is essential to understand the whole system requirement and choose the most effective system and best equipped dust collector system for each particular job.

For the dedusting and filtering industry, Airsys Ventilation is a leading fan manufacturer of air filtering fans, industrial dedusting fan, filtering industry fans to supply the fans to dust filtration applications.
